Program Notes
Producer's Note from the program
Good Evening!
Tonight's show represents the culmination of weeks of fatigue, sorrow, frustrations, and successes. This past summer has been a collage of personalities, backgrounds, and talents which we have brought together for you tonight so that we may present our show, "Carousel".
I have had the privilege to be involved with Peter Quince for an extended length of time now. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people whom I have had the pleasure to have been involved with, as this may possibly be my final season with Peter Quince. But, most of all, I would like to sincerely thank you, out gracious friends and supporters. You have allowed the many members of our company to experience something special that few young people ever get a glimpse of. For in Peter Quince, all of us experience a part of "real life", that puzzling enigma whose meaning eludes all of us, not to mention the rewards we receive from theatre itself by creating a fantasy out of remnants of an existing world. Both of these aspects surely have beneficial effects in our community.
Tonight, share with us and allow yourself to be drawn into our fantasy world. Allow us to take you away to a fishing village in New England many years ago. Follow the dreams, trials, and tragedies of people obsessed with the struggle of life.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy, as the Peter Quince Performing Company, Ltd. proudly presents---"CAROUSEL".

Director's Note from the program
It takes a special kind of devotion to be in Peter Quince. And it takes a special kind of perserverance and desire to do your best. After all the cross words, and foolishness, and effort; after all the blood, sweat, and tears; after everything is said and done. . .these are some of the most hard-working, devoted people we will ever find.
It shows in every aspect of the company: from the cast to crews, to staffs, to the directors, to orchestra. Bit, it all means nothing without you, the audience. We owe a great thanks to everyone in the area who shows us their support. Our patrons, our sponsors, our audiences, and especially our parents, have all given us the vote of confidence that has made Peter Quince a successful organization. In return, we'll try and give you the best, most professional show we can. It's all worth the devotion.
We hope you enjoy our show as much as we enjoy performing it!
