Program Notes
Producer's Note from the program
Good Evening, it is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to this year's show, Smile.
As you sit in the audience you see the end product of the theatre process. What you don't see are the weeks of rehearsals, set building, and all the other aspects of theatrical preparation. The unique aspects of Quince and our approach to theater is probably what goes unnoticed, the love everyone has for Quince, and the exposure that provides young people to all the minute details of theatre that what we pride ourselves on.
As you listen to the songs and watch the story that unfolds, I hope that you'll catch a glimpse of the other side of Quince, the thing that brings members back year after year and that fills the sets with alumni: the "spirit of Quince".

Director's Note from the program
Peter Quince is an amazing group of wonderfully talented people and I was lucky to work with them this summer. The cast has gone far and beyond my expectations! The directing staff has been amazing to work with. My special thanks to Craig and Rachel for making everything run so smoothly. The crew and pit also worked extra hard to make this show its best. Smile is an upbeat show that is just as fun to perform as it looks. Hold your breath and hope the best contestant wins.
