Producer's Note from the program
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Peter Quince's production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Thank you all for coming tonight!
Peter Quince Performing Company has been performing shows every summer for the past 43 years. Each year they have passed on the dream to a new generation, and so here we are today. Peter Quince encourages teenagers and young adults to become a part of the community. It gives them the opportunity to take on the responsibility of producing and performing a show. We are sure that we speak for all Quince members, past and present, when we say that Quince contributes a lot to the people we are today and the people we will become.
We've had our ups and downs this summer, as any production does, but we've pulled together as a company and managed to produce a great show. We've had oodles of fun too! Among the long rehearsals, the sweaty dancing, singing, and planning all summer, we've has unforgettable bonding nights. Perkins, pier nights, the road rally, and other Quince functions have made Quince a second family for us.
With that in mind we'd like to thank all of our marvelous directors this year! You've put in long hours of hard work and dedication, and you've done your best to set us up for success! Our generaldirectors, katie Jo Shimulunas and Austin Ruh, have striven to make their vision of the script come alive. Thanks guys for your dedication and time this summer! Simeon Heili, a big thank you to you for teaching us this difficult but wonderfully jazzy music. You've been a phenomenal choral director. Carrie Bruce and Kory Jacquart, we don't know where we'd be without your mad dancing skills. Your creativity as choreographers had resulted in some outstanding dance numbers. Jonah hermann, we'd like to thank you for being an astounding and enthusiastic pit director! We could not have done it without you, "Maestro." And without the expertise of our Tech Director, Alex Liermann, our stage would be dark and our voices unheard. Thanks, Alex, for turning on the lights!
We would also like to thank the cast for their commitment, patience, and cooperation. You've been a superb cast to work with! Thank you, pit, for the long hours you have put in this summer. We couldn't have asked for a better orchestra. And thank you to the tech and stage crew for the long hours of work you put in during show week. Your preparation and execution of the technical aspects were spot on.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the members of the Production Council. You all put a ton of work and time into making this show happen. As producers, we've put our faith in you, and you have exceeded expectations. Thank you so much for everything!
A huge thank you goes out to the friends and families of everyone involved in the show. We'd especially like to thank the parents. We could not have done it without your love and support. Thank you!

Directors' Note from the program
Hello to all and welcome to tonight's performance of "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels!"
This downright hilarious show tells the message that if somebody cheats in life, he or she is the one that has truly been cheated. It has been a great treat to work with so many talented theater people as we prepared this musical, and to be surrounded by new "Quincers" willing to keep the Peter Quince dream alive. As with any production "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" was quite a challenge to adopt and put on, especially because of the difficult singing and dancing that the show requires. So, I thank our cast and all of our members that worked hard and refused to give up. I would like to thank Katie Jo for her help in directing, Simeon for his choral teaching, and Carrie and Kory for their ever exciting choreography, and many others for their support. I would also like to thank Jonah for one of the best pit bands we have had in years, as well as all of our sponsors. I must finally thank the founders of Peter Quince for their idea of a company that teaches so many life lessons and involved teenagers and young adults in ALL aspects of community theater. Peter Quince is a dream like no other and it has been an honor directing this year.

Thank you so much for coming to our production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels! This summer has been filled with lots of ups and downs. Since the beginning of the summer we have had a few cast members drop out, reducing our cast to what you will see here tonight. It couldn't have turned out better! Our cast is amazingly talented and added so much life and humor to the script.
Set along the French Riviera; this story follows two con men, Lawrence and Freddy, as they try to extract money from the lovely American Soap Queen. With a little charm and a lot of humor Dirty Rotten Scoundrels has a few twists and of course a little love.
Enjoy the show and Keep the Dream Alive.
